Peeling off a paper-based sticker can be a really daunting task. Recently, I bought a water bottle, and it had a barcode sticker. I wanted to remove it by just peeling it. After peeling, it started giving black adhesive that was very sticky and hard to remove. So I thought to remove it with an acetone liquid, which is usually the first choice in removing nail paint. I gently applied the acetone through a small soft tissue pad and tried to remove the sticker. It started removing, but it burned the surface of the plastic bottle. It removed the sticker completely but gave a foggy effect on my new water bottle. After several wash in the washing machine it still has foggy patches. I started disliking the adhesive-like spot and stopped using the water bottle. Few days back I found a sticker from a shop and pasted on my water bottle. Till that time, I was thinking stickers are useless but now i am thinking they are the most useful in these circumstances.
