It has been quite a fulfilling experience with 3D softwares. Learning perfect topology and hard surface modeling should be the preference of every 3D student. If you can model something you like, you can texture and give perfect lighting with practice. The main focus should be on modeling and producing a quality object. C4D has always been easy to texture, so many times I created models in Blender and textured them in C4D, but there was hardly any chance that I modeled in C4D and brought it into Blender. The texturing in Blender is always difficult to understand in the beginning, and it does take a lot of time to create something that you are looking for. After finishing the lighting and texturing, the main point is saving time in rendering with many tricks. However, V-ray and Enscape are still on top, and if you are really serious about photorealistic architectural rendering, then you should consider Unreal Engine, Twinmotion, or V-ray.
