I have noticed while using the Mac that the rendering does not really affect the overall working experience. While the rendering of a 3D object was happening, I was able to create new files and also was able to open heavy files simultaneously.
Apple’s operating system is designed to give preference to the current window that you are working on. It gives fewer resources to the rest of the windows. This gives you a smooth experience. If you open many windows while rendering a 3D object, you will see the time of the rendering keep getting longer because the RAM and resources are shared with new windows. To render it quickly, you should consider closing the extra windows.
