I wish there were no borders between countries. Every person could travel freely and learn about each other’s cultures. You may not know that there were no restrictions before 1920, as the passport was not invented. There was hardly any documentation needed, and entry to other countries was smooth, like going to another city in your own country. However, the travelling was limited, slow, expensive, and time-consuming. A passport brought many hurdles for the average person. They need to show their bank statements, tax payments, visa, and invitation documents, along with their travel history.
Imagine a person who has enough money to travel but has no previous travel details. It is always challenging for the ordinary passport holder to even get a visa these days. If you have a passport from European and Western countries, you may travel without restrictions and get a visa on arrival, but for asian counties, such as Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sirilanka, Somalia, and many other small counties have many restrictions, and they may need to prepare many documents to travel to Western countries.
