I gave an exam of the B1 language as I like to learn new languages. I finished the referred B1 workbooks and was quite content with my effort. The B1 test was surprisingly hard as this level does not define intermediate or advanced, so many advanced questions were difficult to answer. Books do help me learn the basics, but I still believe that watching shows, TV, movies, and soaps helped me more to learn the language instead of plain grammar. The concepts of grammar from the books are necessary but basic. Due to this reason, speaking can be challenging and making new sentences requires a deep knowledge. There was a writing test for which I could get good marks, as it was unexpected to write an email for the photo studio to hire me as a social media manager. Overall, I could get 80+ marks out of 100.
