Reading and rereading is the only way to remember it and keep it in our long-term memory. We come across many new words everyday especailly if we have the habit of reading books or we are living in a tourist country. People come with their culture and, most importantly new language, and if you interact with them, you may find that they have a story to tell. You are exposed to different cultures and more information. This gives us a new experience about people, and we become more open-minded to accept other cultures and languages. If you live alone and have less interaction or are an introvert like me, then you need to visit the library and buy books with the name of a travelogue, e.g. journey to an African Island, or first visit to Australia. These books will give you a great insight into the country and its people based on interactions with the author.
