Some of you may not be interested in upgrading their Macs this year but here is the catch for all those who are willing to wait a little more or waiting for some extra budget to get a better machine than M4. According to reliable sources such as Ming-Chi Kuo who is Apple supply chain analyst shared that the M5 silicon chipset will enter mass production in the first half of 2025.
M5 Pro and M5 Max will follow and going to start production in the second half of the year. It is close to confirm that this year we are going to have hands-on experience with the M5 chipset and there is a perfect chance that we will see M5 Ultra chips in the coming years. Apple is likely to upgrade the Pro series with M5 and all Macs will have OLED screens. It is still unclear as no one has mentioned the iMac and Mac mini. Will they upgrade? Time will tell.
