This question has been asked many times: Is AI going to take over the jobs of graphic designers? I am going to share my thoughts here that AI is still not capable of making complex packaging artworks. It can be used for inspiration, but not for a layered PSD file where you can change your color scheme as per your requirement. It is only capable of creating raster graphics in a fixed template, not with multiple layers. Moreover, it still needs a lot of time to create vector graphics and to deeply understand the needs of the printers. Graphic designers use AI daily as they have found a brain that helps them to get inspiration and even brainstorm. Simple tasks such as business card and stationery design can be done in design softwares, as well as premade templates online builders such as Canva. However, designing a creative logo and brand identity needs professional experience, where AI is still not advanced enough.
