Before the 3D presentation of packaging, unfolded was the traditional way of presenting a design. This shows the folding flaps, pasting flaps, and the rest of the content. Unfolded box presentations are still being used by designers to give a clear look to the entire packaging. Unlike the 3D each panel needs a separate render.
