I recently ordered an NVMe drive online, and the second day it arrived with a different box than the actual product, but I had to give it a try. I was already skeptical about the drive, but I had to try before giving it back. I didn’t know if it was a good idea to try or not, but I installed the drive. It didn’t appear in the BIOS as well as on the operating system. I tried my best to find a way to make it work, but it didn’t work on my computer. I had to return the same day. I packed it as it came, and the next day it arrived back with the seller. In a few days, I got the money back.
Here, I need to mention that if the product does not come with the original packaging, then there is a perfect chance it won’t work. I started thinking that I was scammed, but thankfully, I received my money back. So, the lesson here is that you should take a photo of the product once you open it or make a video while opening it so you can share it online and claim the refund. It is always a better choice to buy directly from the company instead of individual sellers.
