So how to match the clothes that we already have in our closet? We usually go out to do shopping without the reason to buy clothes but after looking around in the shops we like something that we can’t really stop thinking about and finally, we end up buying it. All these clothes are residing in our wardrobes and waiting for us to try. So how to match them together? Many of us do not know how to use a color wheel but there are some basic techniques as a designer I will share with you.
First of all, be ready for the light and dark combination. Try to collect all your darker clothes together and lighter clothes. Now select a lighter color T-shirt with darker jeans or pants. They will match perfectly such as a white shirt will match with darker jeans such as dark blue, dark brown, or dark green. If you have a lighter shade of the same darker jeans you can try that out and they will look splendid. If you would like to be more attractive then try two color combinations such as blue and peach, blue and pink, charcoal and yellow, red and yellow, lime green and light yellow, dark green and electric blue, lavender and teal, off-white with bright red, baby pink with white, baby blue with white. All these colors will match together, now it is your turn to combine them from your closet.
Today, we are sharing a t-shirt and snapback hat mockup in PSD format. Place your artwork on smart objects and play around with color combinations until you will make something unique.
