Liquid and powder washing products are literally detergents that remove the dirt and oil from the clothes and they not only destroy the grime and slime but also damage the softness of the clothes.
To prevent this you need to hand wash your new clothes if you do not wear them so often. Hand washing is the only way you can protect their natural softness and make them clean. Take a small tub of water and add very little liquid detergent, soak the t-shirt, and leave it overnight. Next day squeeze it shortly and dry it indoors. Sunlight is also harsh for new clothes so it is better to dry them in the house.
