So, how to find out which t-shirt will shrink and which will not? Bear this in mind: 100% cotton will always shrink, especially if it is washed for a longer duration and the dryer is used. This makes the cotton shrink. T-shirts with synthetic material and plant-based materials do not shrink like cotton, but they do shrink very little if dried under direct sunlight. All new clothes shrink a bit, so before buying, you need to read the tag about natural fiber, animal, or plant-based textile that resists shrinking.
