I have used C4D for 2 years and 3ds Max for 3 years. For all my 3D needs, I always recommended C4D over Studio Max due to its ease of use and rapid prototyping. I called one of my friends who has worked on C4D and made professional projects for real estate and industrial renders for international clients. He has more than 15+ of experience, and he recommended me to leave C4D and start learning Blender, which I already knew existed but didn’t give it a try. It is open source and free to use for commercial projects. I usually do not pay attention to free softwares but this is not like any other freeware.
Blender is extensive. It is a great software for hard surface modeling, and many old and new 3D softwares are implementing and copying it due to its manual modeling and node texturing. So, upon his recommendation, I started learning Blender and was able to create some simple objects. Gradually, I started liking and found many free helpful resources. Due to Blender, I was able to create some new mockups, and one of them is attached below. I hope you will like it and share it with your designer friends.
