Digital assets should be kept in a library if you are collecting them and will use them later. Many digital assets, such as mockups, are no longer available because of many reasons. For example, a website named CoverVault, managed by an artist Mack, was no longer updated and eventually announced that the website would no longer be available. Some of his free book mockups are available here. Similarly, many websites did not continue as people’s preferences change; they did not work on side projects. A website is not a full-time job unless you work on it for 8 hours a day and update regularly. Every day it should be updated, and if you are a designer who provides design assets, then you should at least upload your bundle twice or three times a week. This allows search engines to keep crawling the website and share them on their search results, which brings traffic to your new work.
