Most of the desktop printers are designed for A4 size and it is the international size for legal and official documents. On the other hand, U.S. paper is slightly smaller and only used in the USA and a few more countries. Asian and European countries prefer to use A4 size. When it comes to distributing flyers only A4 and DL size is used. For more text, A4 is more desirable as it can cover a large amount of content as well as imagery. It can be printed on both sides and bulk printing is economical.
