We, humans, are raised with many addictions. From watching TV to playing video games, from scrolling the reels on our smart mobiles to buying unnecessary items for ourselves. Unhealthy addiction happens when we receive some kind of pleasure and our brain rewards us or gets overwhelmed and pushes us to do the same again and again. Our body release dopamine a type of chemical that rewards us by doing something pleasurable. Many people can’t easily be influenced by this overwhelming experience and activities become our habits. When it comes to coffee and tea they are certainly addictions as we drink them every day and keep on drinking without any reason. To stay away from addiction we need to involve ourselves with more healthy activities such as exercise and make friends who are already doing healthy activities.
