I have started learning a new language and it has been 6 months that I am still scratching my head that why I am not improving and not able to talk in the language. My understanding level is also too basic. I have started learning a book name teach your self language and I am halfway to finish the book. I have recently found out that language learning should be steady and I should practice every day. I have to expose myself to the language as much as possible such as watching TV shows and movies. The best way to learn a language is by learning the vocabulary and then tenses. If possible talking with natives gives a great exposure to copy them and understand the tone of words. Making simple sentences means you are improving and day by day the more you are exposed the more you will able to speak better and the formation of sentences become more mature.
