A4 is an internationally renowned size and is considered the perfect choice for magazines, multipage brochures as well as company catalogs. A4 is preferred by companies for product lists and annual ledgers. The title of the multipage document should be thicker and the inner pages should be thinner such as 90gsm. For the title, anywhere between 200-300 gsm would be a good choice. This makes the document easy to hold and read while turning the pages. It also protects the document from wear and tear. Most of the multipage documents and books reside on the shelf and they are all stacked or lined up with other books. There is always a chance of tearing the pages while taking them out from the shelf and putting them back. Hardcover and thicker covers protect them for longer period of time.
