Citylight is a fixed display unit for posters. They can be digital or static. Digital citylight usually runs many ads one after another. This makes the citylight a profitable business for the authorities who own the citylight, usually the city hall or land authorities. These authorities charge a fixed amount from the advertising company after they run ads, or they can also sell the citylights(mupi units) to advertising companies on an annual basis. Land authorities also run bidding meetings where companies visit, and whoever calls the highest bid holds the right to run ads for the whole year. Running multiple ads can sometimes not be beneficial for the companies who runs ad campaigns because the ad may change again and again, and the focus finishes when the next ad comes.
