LED screens are getting economical and they are even used on larger billboards. However, their refresh rate is still low and the animated ads sometimes look jerky and even skips the frames. They are mostly used for text-based advertising and a single product image. More complex graphic objects and animations need a high-end LED supporting up to 120hz. These high-end LED screens are much more expensive and a small 4K would cost around 200 to 500 USD. Now you can think of and multiply the cost if they are 90 x 30 ft long. Their heat sinker can even make the whole building warm. We are still in the developing stage of larger LEDs. Smaller sizes for posters can be seen on mounted mupi posters, smaller indoor billboards, and even informational panels mounted near tourist attractions.
