While driving back home, I noticed that vertical billboards were erected right at the edge of the large concrete bridge that leads to a premium society. Every entrance and exit can see the billboard due to its structure, but most importantly, it was more visible than a landscape billboard. The design on it was a model posing for a fashion brand, and the whole apparel was appearing along with the logo in a very big size. This made me think: why do we always prefer landscape instead of vertical dimensions? Due to social media vertical reels, we are used to liking vertical designs more, and that makes perfect sense. It enhances eye-level visibility and complements a mobile-friendly design. A vertical campaign can be used and repeated in all social media advertising. This quickly establishes a relation between offline and online campaigns.
