Have you ever wondered what is the difference between tea cups, and coffee cups? Teacups are wider from the top and smaller from the bottom, they are usually smaller in size as compared to coffee cups and mugs. Mugs for coffee are larger and they are cylindrical. Teacups are more classical and have traditional designs that match the saucers. Teacups are bought separately as well as with tea sets including pots, spoons, and bowls. Morning tea cups are conventionally larger in size than afternoon.
Tea cups are made with porcelain and ceramic a special clay heated in ovens. They are typically served with saucers. Teacups have a small handle that adds the delicacy of the cup. They are handpainted with petals, flowers, birds, patterns, and different traditional elements. They are also gold-plated as well as silver-plated to add value to the cup. These cups straight away go to the decoration section of the house. Some teacups are without handles and normally hold no more than 30ml of liquid.
