Raspberry orange is known as blood orange and it looks much darker and closer to the color of blood. It is a sweet orange and the scientific name of raspberry orange is sinensis citrus. Many countries prepare this blood orange by a hybrid method which is a cross-breed between pomelo and mandarin or even tangerine. The inner darker part is called flesh which is surprisingly sweet and the skin remains the same but harder than the organic orange. Taste of the blood orange is very close to the taste of raspberry. Consuming them can provide a good amount of vitamin C which is necessary to keep strengthening our immune system. Moreover, you can mix it with other fruits and enjoy the new taste.
