Air series always reminds us of the past MacBook Air series, as it is a device with less power compared to the pro versions. Apple could have named it iPhone SF (Simfree), iPhone Elegance, iPhone AI, iPhone Light, iPhone Slim, iPhone Flow, iPhone Prime, but not iPhone Air. Why does the name not qualify for the current version? iPhone Air is not only beautiful to hold but also a pro-level phone with a premium price tag of $1399 for the 1 TB model. If you would like to buy a MacBook Air, the most premium version, which is the M5, is $1300 for 15 inches. This pricing has some real problems; justifying the price with a name called Air does not match the other series. It could be iPhone Prime or even elegance. The name Air differs from their current series, like it is from some other company. Anyway, that is what they have selected, and there is a rumor of iPhone Air 2 expected to launch in spring 2027 (around March/April).
