After buying a lot of gifts for my family, I had many brand shopping bags, and they were all made of paper. They could not be used and ended up in the bin. If I were to accept a gift wihout shopping bag, I could save a lot of waste. The main reason is that I did not have my own reusable shopping bag as I am abroad to meet my mother and going back to neuclear family where my son and wife are waiting for me to come and receive their gifts. Where I live, I usually go out with two bags made of nylon. We bought them from IKEA store. They are sturdy and have been used nearly 100+ occasions if not more. We have used them to carry daily groceries, weekly shopping, and almost everything we carry, such as an umbrella, wipes, and tissues. After one wash, they still look new.
