Yogurt has many usages, some use it as a snack, some use it in cooking dishes, and some use it to make raita (cacık). It is read as “jajak” in the Turkish language. Raita word is used in the subcontinent and is made with yogurt, cucumber, mint leaves, and salt. On the other hand, cacık is made with yogurt, water, cucumber, and garlic. It tastes different from Raita but they look almost identical. Some people also mix mint, green onion, thyme, dill (a kind of vegetable) and olive oil. It also makes it more flavorsome. You will also get to experience many varieties of yogurt prepared with vegetables.
