For many companies kraft bag is the first choice for small items as it is recyclable, can be reused, and reproduced. Kraft bags have a distinctive brown color, which is a natural color of the wood fiber. Only darker color printing can appear on the paper, such as black or maroon. Other lighter colors, such as yellow or blue, can also appear, but process printing should not be used because water-based printing can dissolve the paper’s brown color and cannot appear accurately. To achieve accurate results, oil-based inks or screen printing are used, which produce clear results. Many companies also use foil printing to create a premium look. Moreover, barcodes require a white background to be scanned easily, and for this reason, stickers are pasted on the kraft paper. Many companies also use scotch tape to paste additional information.
