My personal diary helped me in many different ways. First of all, taking notes in my class was easier than typing on a mobile or tablet. Whenever I had anything new to discuss with the teacher I was at that time writing and it was easier to discuss in the next class. This helps me a great deal. Writing important vocabulary so I can use it whenever possible. Many times I was not using the older words I learned a few months ago. I revised and started using them again until they became my permanent memory. Moreover, my personal diary contains my personal thoughts and they are quite wild. I like to write different long sentences and translate them to other languages. This has become my latest hobby and my personal diary keeps me busy and makes me more busy than my smartphone.
