There are two types of tri-fold brochures, one folds inside like a gate, and the other one is z-fold sits like a letter “Z”. Tri-fold has a larger center panel so the other two panels can sit perfectly inside. On the other hand, Z-fold has the same size panel and they sit over each other. Now the question is when we should use z-fold and when to use tri-fold. If you are unveiling a new product, the best option would be tri-fold, but if you have multiple products, z-fold would be a wise choice. If you have more content then you can double the size of the center panel and make it a gatefold brochure. A bigger center panel will provide you enough space to enlarge your product and receive all the attention.
