There was a time when static billboards were erected on every corner of the street. It was more like a city in a billboard because the numbers were rising drastically, and companies were allowed to erect their own structure. This practice was suddenly halted due to many of them falling after strong winds and a damaged structure. Land authorities then did not allow any private company to erect their billboard anymore and even started removing the existing ones for people’s safety. One of the safest options was mounting billboards on the street wall so they won’t be able to remove by gales. Smaller billboards are now seen at the corner of the street, and passersby can also read them intentionally or unintentionally. Larger billboards are nowhere to be seen in the urban city, and only a few are left above buildings.
