When Samsung Galaxy S was launched on June 4, 2010, I was the one who was actively running their outdoor campaign. We acquired every possible poster stand and billboard available in the market. We had to adapt many sizes and the outdoor campaign was running for a month. Galaxy S campaign became successful and every coming smartphone from Samsung was endorsed and bought from the market. It was then difficult to find any Samsung smartphone. Then many other Chinese companies came to get the rest of the share. VIVO, Xiomi, & Oppo were the brands introduced to the market. They did gather a good share by providing better cameras and cheaper prices. 2010 was the first wave of smartphones that everyone liked to buy and have a hands-on experience.
