My wife kept asking me yesterday to upgrade our phones, as they are becoming old and we no longer like the old design. We both have Xiaomi phones, as we find them economical and we are not tech-savvy when it comes to choosing phones. Before Xiaomi, I had HTC, and before HTC, I had iPhone 5C. I really had a good time with the iPhone 5C as it was a cheaper option but at the same time a good quality phone. I still have it but its battery does not hold the charge. HTC had many issues with the touch screen and it started to hang a lot and I had to replace it with a new one. I used the iPhone for 4 years and HTC for nearly 2 years. A good brand of phone can last anywhere between 4-6 years and it is a safe bet to upgrade a new phone if you have been bored of using it for the last 4-5 years. If you have iPhone 11 then you may need to upgrade it to iPhone 16 Pro or Max version which has been launched in 2024. If you have iPhone 12 and the battery is still working fine then you may wait for a year or even two.
