William painter came up with the idea of the crown cap which is also called the crown seal used on soda bottles worldwide and they are the most traditional glass bottles still available in the market. These bottles are the cheap alternatives to tin can bottles and they should be returned to the shopkeeper after drinking. William invented the cap in 1892 in Baltimore.
