Many times, people interchangeably use reed diffusers as incense bottles. There is a basic difference between these two. Reed diffusers provide a continuous scent that can decrease over time when the liquid is finished from the open bottle. This is mainly used in office meeting rooms, washrooms, drawing rooms, meditation rooms, and even in cars. On the other hand, incense sticks require a flame to produce the scent. The smoke that comes out from the burning sticks quickly fills indoor areas and can be good for larger rooms as well as removing heavy odors as a quick fix. Reed diffusers are much more expensive than the incense sticks, as they are available in attractive packaging and a bottle. Incense sticks do not come with any bottle; you can burn the sticks from the top and put them into any ceramic or transparent glass. Make sure to place a large tray or plate under the sticks because when they burn, grey or white ash falls on the ground.
