Disposable batteries are much cheaper than rechargeable batteries when you look at the initial cost. However, the most cost-effective are rechargeable batteries as they can be used for many months or even years. The initial investment in the batteries is a wise choice but no one really considers this and keeps buying the non-rechargeable ones. Rechargeable batteries are 4 times more expensive than chargeable ones they do have limited cycles and a 3-5 year warranty but it does not mean they will last for 3 years. They work even more than 5 years and can be recharged fully and work efficiently.
Let’s use a common example of placing rechargeable batteries in the TV remote control. TV remote can last the disposable battery for 6 to 8 months but rechargeable can work for many years. The same goes for gaming controllers, flashlights, speakers, electric razors, toothbrushes, reading lights, lanterns, and many other small gadgets.
