There are two ways to fold them: one is the Z-fold style, and the other is folding inwards. For folding inwards, you need to be very careful about the sizing of the pages because if the size is not right or the crease is not perfectly made, then the folding can be troublesome. So after the first crease, the crease maker should check and be sure about the folding.
Brochures that fold inwards should be laminated because the brochure overlaps over each other, and there is a possible chance that the varnish and shine would be removed after opening and closing them many times, and the paper would show some scratches. It is recommended to matt laminate them, which adds extra protection.
