Freelancing has never been my thing in life as a designer with 20 years. I was under enormous pressure to meet daily and weekly deadlines as an art director in an advertising agency. I was single-handedly managing the design work for more than 12 companies at the same time before hiring the team under me. It was a great challenge that taught me things that are unparalleled to any professional experience. Designing and printing process, along with the knowledge of pre-press in 1000s of projects, gave me a lot of in-depth knowledge. This made me feel like I had to teach and pass on the knowledge. So, I decided to teach for 2 years and passed on a lot of information. Nowadays, I am back to freelancing because I have completely left working for anyone and am building my online presence. Goodmockups is one of the examples.
