In packaging, there are two types of dimensions used for commercial products. The first one is a cuboid, which seems to be the first choice, and 90% of the packaging on the shelves are made with a cuboid shape. The second type is a perfect cube shape, which is most preferred for jar creams and smaller items. The cube can be stacked and does not waste space. The main reason for adding the product to the packaging box is to make it transportable. Boxes should have padding inside so the product does not shake while transporting and handling. Padding also adds more thickness to the box and prevents damage if accidentally dropped.
