When I started my career in the packaging industry, every other day I was designing labels not only for bottles but also for cans, jars, and injectables. We had a long list of companies and I was always busy with many projects lined up one by one. It was tough for me to switch from one project to another. Some labels and designs were designed in Illustrator, some of them were in Photoshop, some on Freehand, and many of them in CorelDraw. Switching was not as smooth as it is now because I am no longer using the software I used to work on in the packaging industry. After a decade of working on more than 500 projects single-handedly I came across too many shortcuts and some valuable information. While designing labels you need to replicate the main artwork twice and in between add the ingredient and barcode information. Always prefer and duplicate the main designs twice but do not sacrifice the information if it is too much then only stick to the single-side design.
