For example, when we are kids we do not know how to protect ourselves from the sharp corners, and often parents cover the sharp corners with rounded sheets and cover the covers to protect us from getting hurt. Sharp corners are not considered safe but it does not mean that every design should follow rounded corners. Rounded corners are appealing and desirable.
