There are many different collar types in t-shirt and you should know their names if you really like anything specific.
- Kiwi style
- Round (crew neck)
- Insert (used for sports tees)
- V-neck
- Polo
- Loop style
- Stub
- Open Stub (footballs prefer it)
- Barbos (another sporty style)
Regular ones are v-neck which is preferred by the heavy-built, and round neck, which is worn as casual wear. The loop and stub style is mostly worn in offices and considered formal wear. They have perfect collars like a dress shirt and a few buttons. Polo is also considered formal wear as well as casual wear, depending on how you pair it. Jeans, pants, trousers, and shorts are all paired with t-shirts.
