So, before even thinking about mounting you should first consider a few steps. 1) Look around and see the building structure and color scheme and match your sign with it. 2) Is it allowed to mount the signboard on the face of the building? 3) Do you need a backlit board or spotlight? 4) Which material is durable and lighter? 5) Shape of the signboard 6) Height of the signboard above ground. These are all the steps you need to consider. Make sure the height is 8 ft from the surface where you stand. It can be as tall as 12 feet depending upon the location. Storefront can be mounted slightly higher but the signboard should remain between 8-12 ft as they need to be visible for both pedestrians and passing vehicles.
