I have been asked many times what is NFC and how to use it. To begin with, the short form is called “near field communication”. NFC is a very small-range wireless connectivity that lets the devices transfer and communicate with each other. So, the next question that comes to our mind is the usage of NFC in our life and how to get any benefit from it.
For example, if you would like to pay with a card in a shopping mall you may either use a regular swipe card or use an NFC-enabled card. The difference is that you do not need to pay by swiping you only need to show the card to the machine and it will instantly deduct the money if the card is as near as 1 inch. This is the most convenient way to pay your dues. You may also use this function in your smartwatch as well as smartphones. After enabling and syncing your data with the NFC application you can either pay through paying booths or check your balance from the card without logging into the application. It is always a safe practice to enable the NFC functionality while there is a use.
