We consume so many foods with allergens. Allergens cause many symptoms such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, lightheaded and dizzy feeling, swelling under the eyes, lips and part of the face, coughing, wheezing, itchy skin, rashes, tummy pain in kids, feeling sick or cold-like symptoms, as well as diarrhoea. All these symptoms stop when we stop consuming allergen-rich food. So, what food should we discontinue or consume in a moderate amount? Food such as peanuts, almonds, cashew nuts, and all other tree nuts have an excessive amount of allergens. They should be consumed in a small amount, such as a handful on daily or bi-weekly. Other foods such as milk, egg, fish, lobster, and shrimp also have allergens, but they can be consumed daily, such as egg and milk. Fish and other seafood should be consumed twice a week. If you are allergic to any of the above, then you should consult your doctor and have a nasal spray with you, as they help a great deal by opening the nasal cavity.
