The best TVs these days are considered 4K with 120htz. Anything above can be premium, and you may not need more than that for atleast next couple of decades. The best companies you can choose from are Samsung, LG, and Philips. In recent times, Philips has improved their LEDs and OLEDs significantly, and they are quite competitive in terms of pricing and quality. You can choose Philips if you have a slightly low budget, but the quality of their screens are always top-notch. I am personally using two screens, and both are from Philips. One serves as a monitor, and the other as a 4K TV. If you really do not wish to spend 1000 USD and would like to find a cheaper option, then we would suggest you buy 60htz. It is equally good if you are not into games, and you may save 2/3 of your money.
