Basketball is one of the most healthiest outdoor games. It is played both indoors and outdoors. Indoor is usually played on a wooden floor and outdoors on cement-based turf or a concrete surface. It is played by both men and women but it is preferred for taller people as the hoop which is a ring with a basket is quite high and throwing a ball for a taller person is easier as compared to the shorter person. But there is no hard and fast rule that this game is specifically designed for the tallest people. Basketball is played between two teams and each team should have 5 players. Every successful basket scores 2 points, unlike football where every goal scored will be counted 1 point. Basketball has a 3-point score as well and it is accepted if the ball is thrown in the hoop out of the D-shaped 3-pointer arc.
