You will find many different variations in sizing when it comes to hanging tags. Longer tags like the image below can be 2×5 inches or slightly smaller in size, such as 1.75 x 4 inches. It totally depends on your requirement. If you are supposed to add a good amount of content along with pricing details, then use a larger size and provide more breathing space for the logo design and the rest of the text. Do not insert a lot of text as it will have readability issues, and no one is willing to read from tags. People will usually check the size and price. Or they may read the manufacturing details if they are curious to know. Make sure the cardstock is thick and has some lamination, which gives it a premium look.
