We always compare the top smartphones of the top companies. Samsung introduced Galaxy S25 Ultra with a 200 MP camera, while Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max has a 48 MP camera on its top-of-the-line iPhone. Moreover, the video capturing in S25 Ultra is 8k and on iPhone it is 4K. In these specs, Samsung is way ahead. However, when it comes to the front selfie camera resolution, there is a clear winner, which is Apple with 18 MP and Samsung with 12 MP. It depends upon the sensor quality instead of resolution. Resolution takes a lot of extra space because the image you are taking will be much heavier and can fill up your space very quickly, then you need to have secondary space, which is cloud storage. With a low aperture setting, you can take a good close-up photo; any lens close to 1.8 is a good start. Ultra also has a slight edge of 45W, whereas the iPhone has 40W.
