Frosted bottles give a beautiful appearance to the product bottle. These bottles are used for cosmetics and essential oils. Frosted bottles are usually paired with a steel or plastic cap to give an aesthetically pleasing look. In these semi-opaque bottles, liquid can easily be seen and give a frosted effect all over.
Frosted glass is easily recyclable just like any other glass. Another benefit is that it can protect the liquid from UV rays due to the translucent appearance diffusing the direct light. Frosted texture is done by achieving consistency on the surface. In technical terms, frosting is performed by immersing the glass in a solution containing fluoric acid (HF) and ammonium hydrofluoride (NH 4HF 2) for 10-20 seconds.
